I can't speak for men everywhere, but I'd venture to say that Doggy-Style falls somewhere in the top 3 as far as favorite sex positions go. From what I understand, the ladies love it too! One of the major bonuses is that it doesn't require a bed. Hell, you can even do it on a staircase.
Here's the thing though, it can definitely be pretty intense for both parties involved and because of that, it's important to keep a few things in mind not only for your lady's benefit, but for yours too!
Doggy-Style, while amazing, isn't really a, "look Ma, no hands" position. Why? Because slippage is likely to occur. If you don't know what I mean by, slippage, let me paint a picture. You're in the middle of a rhythm with zero means of keeping your bearings, when all of a sudden you slip out and hit yourself on your partner. Slow Down
Is there and time and place to go fast? For sure! But because Doggy is so intense, you're not likely to last very long that way. As for birth control, it all goes back to the intensity of the act. It's a lot harder to pull out during Doggy-Style, than say, Missionary. Not suggesting that other positions don't feel good, it's just difficult in the heat-of-the-moment from that angle.
As with all things sex, it will only be as good as you want it be. So long as you're open and communicative with your partner, I have no doubt that Doggy-Style will become a regular in your lineup.
